The 7th International Society for Improvised Music (ISIM) Festival and Conference, “Crosscultural Improvisation III,” will be held June 5-8, 2014, hosted jointly by the New School for Contemporary Music and Mannes College The New School for Music. In anticipation of this event, Project ISIM — an ensemble of conference artists, and ISIM Directorate members and staff  — will present a program of improvised compositions exploring the festival-conference theme in multiple instrumental combinations and configurations.

ISIM presents a thrilling performance at Roulette: the culmination of the three-day ISIM workshops, discussions, and jam sessions held at at York College, June 29 – July 1.
